Terms of Service &
Platform Policies

These Terms govern your use of Betnexx and all associated services. By accessing or using the platform in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

Important: Please read these Terms carefully before registering an account or placing any bet. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Betnexx platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Betnexx Ltd.

Definitions & Interpretation

Key terms used throughout this Agreement and their precise meanings.

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions apply:

"Betnexx" / "We" / "Us"
Betnexx Ltd., a company incorporated in Ghana (Reg. No. CS-2023-007841), operating under licence from the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
"User" / "You"
Any individual who has registered for or is using a Betnexx Account, including persons browsing the Platform without an account.
"Platform"
The Betnexx website, mobile application, API integrations, and any other digital interface through which Services are delivered.
"Account"
The personal, non-transferable account registered by a User through which they may access and use the Services.
"Services"
All sports betting, gaming, promotional, financial, and ancillary services offered through the Platform.
"Bet" / "Wager"
A stake placed by a User on a specified outcome of a Sporting Event or other permitted market available on the Platform.
"Odds"
The numerical representation of the likelihood of an outcome, determining the multiplier applied to a User's Stake on a winning Bet.
"KYC"
Know Your Customer — the identity verification and due diligence process required by applicable law and Betnexx's compliance policy.
"AML"
Anti-Money Laundering — laws, regulations, and internal policies designed to prevent the use of the Platform for financial crimes.
"Winnings"
Amounts credited to a User's Account as a result of a successful Bet, calculated as Stake multiplied by the applicable Odds.
"Responsible Gambling Tools"
Features available to Users to manage gambling behaviour, including deposit limits, session limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion.
"Palpable Error"
An obviously incorrect price or settlement result arising from human error, data feed failure, or technical fault, as determined by Betnexx.

Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa. References to statutes include all amendments. Headings are for convenience only.

Acceptance & Eligibility

Who may use Betnexx and the basis upon which access is granted.

2.1 Agreement to Terms

By registering an Account, accessing the Platform, placing a Bet, or otherwise using any Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Responsible Gambling Policy, and any other policies published on the Platform (collectively, the "Agreement"). The Agreement takes effect on the date you first access the Platform.

2.2 Eligibility Requirements

You represent and warrant that at all times whilst using the Platform:

  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Betnexx strictly prohibits access by persons under 18 and reserves the right to request proof of age at any time.
  • You are accessing the Platform from a jurisdiction in which online sports betting is legal and permitted.
  • You are acting on your own behalf and not on behalf of any other person or entity.
  • You are not a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) or subject to international financial sanctions without having disclosed such status.
  • You are not a current employee, contractor, director, or agent of Betnexx, or a close relative of any such person.
  • You have not been excluded from gambling services voluntarily or by court or regulatory order.
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and you will promptly update us if any such information changes.

2.3 Restricted Territories

Betnexx does not accept registrations or bets from users in these jurisdictions (non-exhaustive):

Users who access the Platform from a Restricted Territory do so in violation of these Terms. Betnexx shall bear no liability and reserves the right to void bets and confiscate funds deposited by ineligible users.

Account Registration & Security

Your obligations in creating and maintaining your Betnexx Account.

3.1 One Account Policy

Each individual may hold only one (1) active Account. Multi-accounting is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms. Betnexx may suspend or close all associated accounts, void all bets, and forfeit all balances where multi-accounting is confirmed.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials. You must:

  • Choose a strong, unique password and change it periodically.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where offered.
  • Never share your login credentials with any third party.
  • Log out of your Account after each session, particularly on shared devices.
  • Notify Betnexx Support immediately at security@betnexx.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

All activity conducted through your Account shall be deemed your responsibility unless and until you notify us of a confirmed breach.

3.3 Account Suspension

Betnexx reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close any Account at its sole discretion including where we suspect fraud or abuse, a User is found to be ineligible, required by law or regulatory authority, or the Account has been inactive for more than 12 consecutive months.

KYC & Identity Verification

Our obligations and yours under applicable anti-money laundering legislation.

KYC verification is mandatory under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044) of Ghana. Failure to complete verification will result in withdrawal restrictions and may lead to account closure.

Betnexx may request updated or additional documents at any time. Refusal to provide requested documentation constitutes grounds for account suspension and potential reporting to the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC).

Deposits, Withdrawals & Financial Policies

How funds are managed, processed, and protected on the Platform.

5.1 Deposit Policy

  • All deposits must originate from a payment method registered in your name. Third-party deposits are strictly prohibited.
  • Minimum deposit: GH₵ 5.00. No maximum applies at Tier 3 KYC.
  • Deposits are credited instantly for mobile money and within 1–3 business days for bank transfers.
  • Betnexx does not charge deposit fees, though your payment provider may apply their own charges.

5.3 Dormant Accounts & Inactivity Fees

Accounts inactive for twelve (12) consecutive months are classified as dormant. A monthly administrative fee of GH₵ 5.00 (or remaining balance, whichever is lower) is deducted until the balance reaches zero or the account is reactivated. Betnexx will notify you by email prior to applying any dormancy charge.

Betting Rules & Market Policies

The rules that govern bet placement, settlement, and disputes.

6.1 Bet Placement & Confirmation

A Bet is accepted and confirmed only when you receive a unique Bet ID and the corresponding funds are debited from your Account Balance. Betnexx reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any Bet at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected advantage play, system error, or palpable errors. In-play bets are subject to a brief acceptance delay.

6.2 Palpable Errors

Where a Bet is accepted at odds that are clearly incorrect — due to human error, data feed failure, or technical fault — Betnexx reserves the right to void such bets and return stakes regardless of outcome. A palpable error is defined as an odds discrepancy of more than 20% from the true market price at the time of placement.

Promotions, Bonuses & Free Bets

How promotional offers are granted, used, and may be forfeited.

7.1 General Promotion Terms

All Promotions are subject to these general terms and any specific promotion-level terms published alongside each offer. Promotions are offered at Betnexx's absolute discretion and may be withdrawn, modified, or replaced at any time. Each Promotion is limited to one Account per person, per household, per IP address, and per payment method.

Bonus Abuse: Betnexx employs sophisticated detection systems to identify bonus abuse, arbitrage, and exploitation patterns. Where abuse is identified, all bonuses, related winnings, and deposits may be forfeited and the account terminated without notice.

All tools are accessible from Account Settings. Self-exclusion requests processed within 24 hours. Contact support@betnexx.com to activate self-exclusion immediately.

8.2 Underage Gambling Prevention

Betnexx employs age verification technology at registration. Any account found to belong to a person under 18 will be immediately closed and all winnings voided. Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control software such as GamBan to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites.

Prohibited Conduct

Activities that are expressly forbidden and will result in account action.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of funds, and reporting to law enforcement:

  • Match-fixing and corruption: Placing bets on events you have knowledge of or influence over the outcome.
  • Arbitrage and professional exploitation: Systematically exploiting price discrepancies to guarantee profit regardless of outcome.
  • Automated software and bots: Using any bot, script, or automated tool to access, scrape, or interact with the Platform.
  • Money laundering: Using the Platform to conceal or process illegal funds.
  • Fraud and misrepresentation: Providing false identity information or using stolen payment methods.
  • Chargebacks: Initiating unauthorised payment reversals. All such amounts plus an administrative charge of GH₵ 200 will be recovered or pursued legally.
  • Collusion: Coordinating with other users to manipulate events or exploit platform features.
  • System exploitation: Deliberately exploiting software bugs, platform errors, or technical vulnerabilities for gain.
  • Harassment: Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour toward Betnexx staff or other users.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of Platform content and your limited licence to use it.

All content on the Betnexx Platform — including the "BETNEXX" name and logo, trademarks, software, source code, databases, odds algorithms, text, graphics, and user interface elements — is the exclusive intellectual property of Betnexx Ltd. or its licensors, protected by applicable law.

Betnexx grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, reverse-engineer, scrape, republish, sell, or create derivative works from any Platform content without Betnexx's prior written consent.

Data Protection & Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Betnexx processes your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. Key data processing activities include account management, service delivery, legal compliance (KYC/AML), marketing (where opted-in), and platform analytics.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data by contacting privacy@betnexx.com. We retain personal data for a minimum of five (5) years after account closure to comply with AML obligations.

Liability, Warranties & Indemnity

The limits of our liability and your indemnification obligations.

12.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Betnexx does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free.

12.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betnexx's aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) total amounts deposited by you in the preceding 12 months, or (b) GH₵ 1,000. Betnexx shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages including loss of profits or data.

12.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Betnexx, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution

The process for resolving disagreements between you and Betnexx.

13.1 Internal Complaints

Submit complaints in writing to disputes@betnexx.com with your Account ID, description of the issue, and supporting evidence. Betnexx will acknowledge within 48 hours and provide a final response within 28 calendar days. Complex cases may require up to 56 days with written notification.

13.2 Escalation to Regulator

If dissatisfied with Betnexx's final response, you may escalate to the Gaming Commission of Ghana at gamingcommission.gov.gh, which offers independent dispute resolution for licensed operators.

13.3 Arbitration

For disputes not resolved through the above process, both parties agree to binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 2010 (Act 798) of Ghana. Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in Accra, Ghana. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The legal framework that governs this Agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration clause, the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. Betnexx operates under Licence No. GAB/2024/0047 issued by the Gaming Commission of Ghana pursuant to the Gaming Act, 2006 (Act 721).

Amendments to These Terms

How and when these Terms may change.

Betnexx reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via Platform notice, email to your registered address, and/or pop-up notification on next login. Amendments take effect 14 days after publication unless you object by closing your Account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Minor amendments including typographical corrections may take effect immediately.

16

Termination & Account Closure

How and when this Agreement and your Account may be terminated.

16.1 Termination by You

You may close your Account at any time by submitting a written request to support@betnexx.com. Remaining balances (less applicable fees and pending settlements) will be returned to your registered payment method within 14 days, subject to completed KYC and compliance review.

16.2 Termination by Betnexx

Betnexx may terminate your Account immediately and without notice where you breach any provision of these Terms, are found to be ineligible, or where required by law. Upon termination for breach, Betnexx may retain all funds as damages to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16.3 Survival

The following provisions survive termination: Sections 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14.
